Hello there, I’m Avery - nice to meet you!

Raised in Northern California and settled in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I have always been drawn to spending as much time as possible creating and arranging. First I am a wife, mama, and hardcore Catholic. What brings me the most joy is living out my dream of being a homemaker, but some of my other favorite things are thrifting, playing boardgames, hosting events, and making coffee. I used to be a certified professional barista trainer (yes, that’s a real thing!) and I can hardly wait until my baby is big enough to teach about coffee! In addition to my regular life, which these days looks quite simple, I have a genuine love for documenting emotion and connection out in the world.

My photography style is warm, comfortable, real and joyful. What is most important to me is to genuinely capture the emotion and connection that you share with loved ones. I want your real personalities to guide our shoot to allow your photos to FEEL LIKE YOU in your most beautiful fashion.
